Best of 2010, Vancouver Edition

2010 is almost over and its time for "best of the year" lists. For this week’s episode I've picked my favorite albums released by local bands this year and played my favorite songs from those albums. It was really easy and really hard at the same time to pick songs to play. There is an amazing music scene in Vancouver and there are lots of brilliant bands, but I had to leave off some of them, because its impossible to fit all those great songs in one hour of radio show. Here's the list of all the albums by Vancouver bands released this year, that I've listened and liked:

We All Fall Down, December 9th, 2010

Hello Hello Hello!

I've planned two big blocks of music for that show. The first one was based on the new compilation from Fat Wreck Chords which came out 2 weeks ago. Harder, Fatter + Louder! has 5 brand new songs from Pour Habit, No Use for a Name, Cobra Skulls, Chixdiggit! and Against Me! Thank you to my friend Melanie for that disk!!!

Last week I got an e-mail from listener Ryan, who was interested in German ska scene. I took his question as a request and prepared 5 songs from 5 German ska/punk bands.
